Tutorials
- Webmaster's Primer (produced with Eric Meyer's S5) - I presented this at ACM and a few people showed up. These slides are fairly sparse compared to the amount I covered in the talk, and basically my general philosophy of all-encompassing learning is the center focus.
- Homework LaTeX skeleton (sample output) - I tend to typeset all my homework now. I wish I'd started years earlier.
- Guide to building Windows NT boxes (ugh) - not my favorite activity, but there are some things you can do to make it a halfway bearable situation
- Citrix on OS X-the Windows version works pretty flawlessly in my experience, but there are some issues on OS X.
Web Stuff
- Validate CSS- a favelet basically blatantly ripped off from the W3C favelets page, except they don't offer the CSS version there.
- I do a ton of web stuff; I redid the MI Trumpets site awhile back and more lately I've been working on this site and various small stuff for ACM and various clients.
Class Projects
- ECE110 Formula Sheet - from many moons ago.
- ECE291 (now ECE390) project page - a silly game, but it scored quite well.
- Marktime-a suite I designed, but have not yet fully implemented, for
UIBands. It's currently in use for tracking basketball band points, and for
powering the Trumpets site.
- CS411 (databases)- a rather simple project, but my first real GUI (in Swing). Hopefully I'll get a demo up here real soon now (tm).
Hardware
- Getting a USB PIC programmer working with OS X
- I'm starting work on a pipe organ. Inspired by Matthias Wandel's page.
- Last summer I built some pneumatic potato guns (pictures soon I hope)
